Indonesia reading interest still low, need a break

I am interested in this topic because as a novel reader, I am curious about the state of novel in Indonesia. Last Christmas, I read a novel and suddenly thought of picking this as my english presentation topic. I searched the internet and found out that Indonesia interest in reading, especially kids, are very low. The data from UNESCO showed only 0.01 percent indonesia kids love to read. It is said that ‘Kantor Perpustakaan Nasional Republik Indonesia’ has recorded 90 percent of the population over the age of ten years old like to watch television, but doesn’t like to read book.
